Rolex Four Seasons Daytona Collection Sells for $49.4 Million, Sets New Benchmark for Charity Watch Sales
Rolex made headlines this September, and if you were at Watches & Wonders this year, you’ll know why. The rumors are confirmed: A set of four one-of-a-kind Rolex Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytonas, the ‘Four Seasons Daytona Collection,’ was officially auctioned off for charity. The total combined figure? $49.4 million. The collection officially set a new benchmark for charity watch sales.
The sale was held on September 28, 2026, in partnership with Phillips Auction House, a London-based global fine art and luxury auction house, and benefited two charities: the Federer Foundation and Re:wild.
Get to Know The Rolex Four Seasons Daytona Collection
Each of the four watches embodies a season, making them distinctly unique. However, they all share a brightly colored design with precious metals, colored gemstones, natural stones, and diamonds.
Every dial features natural stone, including the counters, and each bezel has 36 trapeze-cut gemstones. All four lugs and the crown guard steal the show with 54 brilliant-cut diamonds totaling approximately 0.86 ct.
Ref. 126596 SABV – Winter
Winter sold for $13.20 million and was the only watch in the collection cased in 950 platinum. It also stands out for being the only watch with diamond hour markers. It features eight baguette-cut diamonds and three square-cut diamonds, both set in striking 18k white gold. The dial is crafted from blue opals, and the lapis lazuli counters beautifully contrast the dial.
Calling the bezel eye-catching is an understatement. It’s undoubtedly one of the most dramatic in the collection, with around 5.57 ct in 36 trapeze-cut sapphires that gradually change in color with the light from blue to fuchsia.

Considered the most restrained of the collection, Spring sold for $9.01 million, the lowest amount of the collection, but by no means unimpressive. The Spring timepiece has a green chrysoprase dial with striking lepidolite counters. The hour markers consist of eight baguette-cut sapphires and three square-cut sapphires set in 18k white gold. The bezel adds a pop of color against the white metal with 36 trapezoid-cut purple sapphires, totaling approximately 5.57 ct.

Perhaps for its warmth and joyfulness, Summer topped the auction, selling for around $13.65 million. This timepiece is cased in 18k Everose gold, which pairs beautifully with the turquoise dial and ruby counters. Contrasting against the dial are eight baguette-cut and three square-cut pink sapphire hour markers in an 18K pink gold setting. The bezel ties in with the hour markers, featuring 36 trapeze-cut pink sapphires totaling approximately 4.32 ct.
Ref. 126598 TML – Autumn/Fall
Selling for a little less than Summer at approximately $13.52 million was the Autumn/Fall watch, an 18K yellow gold timepiece with a mookaite dial and bright green chrysoprase counters. The hour markers contrasting against the warm golden dial are eight baguette-cut and three square-cut green tourmalines in an 18K yellow gold setting. Thirty-six vibrant trapeze-cut green tourmalines of around 4.32 ct line the bezel.
