Its black dial is engineered for exceptional legibility, adorned with bold, luminous Arabic numerals and indexes, while a day and date window at 3 o’clock and a small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock provide essential pilot-specific functionality . At its heart beats the reliable automatic Caliber 79320, a 25-jewel chronograph movement based on the Valjoux 7750, which delivers a 44-hour power reserve and drives the 30-minute and 12-hour chronograph counters at 12 and 6 o’clock . This robust timepiece is also protected from magnetic fields by a soft-iron inner case and offers a water resistance of 60 meters . Completed by an integrated stainless steel bracelet with IWC’s convenient sizing system and a folding clasp, this 2010s-era chronograph is a testament to IWC’s unwavering commitment to precision, durability, and timeless aviation design .
